Warmonger is a turn-based fantasy wargame of mass battles on a hex grid, wrapped in a roguelike campaign. Pick one of four races, march a warband across a branching map of battles, taverns, forges and strange encounters, and build an army that carries every scar from fight to fight.

It runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. No download, and the first campaign is free.

• A campaign that remembers. Four acts on a branching map. Every warlord you leave alive turns up at the final battle.
• Morale that matters. Units waver, break, flee and rally, and one rout can unravel a whole line.
• Magic, monsters and fire. 24 spells, war machines and giants, and fire that spreads through the woods and burns the ground for good.
• Grow your army: 82 unit upgrade trees, 246 pieces of wargear and 47 legendary magic items. Veterans and their scars carry between battles.
• Over 180 events and stories on the road between fights.
• A weekly challenge: a fixed hero and map for everyone, and a leaderboard.

Warmonger is made by Simon Harris, a lifelong tabletop wargamer, trading as Flashback Generations. It's built for players who want every decision to matter: anything the game can work out from the board, it works out for you, so your turns are spent on tactics, not admin.
